As well as our corporate trust operations, we have worked to develop personalized retail banking and asset management operations that utilize trust systems and functions. SMBC Trust Bank became part of the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group in October 2013. We are now making a fresh start following the integration of the retail banking operations of Citibank Japan Ltd. under the new PRESTIA brand in November 2015.
