Charitable Donation for Flood Damages in Thailand

TOKYO, October 20, 2011 --- Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC, President:  Takeshi Kunibe) and all of its employees would like to express their deepest sympathy for those people and areas affected by the flood in the Northern and Central parts of Thailand.  In order to assist and contribute for the fastest recovery of the people and areas affected by the flood, SMBC will make a charitable donation of 30 million yen (12 million Thai Baht).

 SMBC will continue to exert all of its efforts to support people and businesses in the affected areas.
