Donation for Typhoon Relief in the Philippines

TOKYO, November 13, 2013 --- Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC, its President:  Takeshi Kunibe) and all of its employees would like to express their heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy for those people affected by the typhoon disaster in the Philippines.

In order to help in the recovery efforts in the region after the typhoon, SMBC will donate JPY 10,000,000 to Japanese Red Cross Society.

We sincerely hope for an early recovery of the areas affected by the disaster.
