Disaster Relief Donation for Flood Victims in the Union of Myanmar

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC, President: Takeshi Kunibe) and its employee would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and our deepest sympathy to the people and areas affected by the flood in the Union of Myanmar.

SMBC will donate USD 10,000 (JPY 1.24 million) to the Myanmar Government to help in the recovery efforts, and provide USD 10,000 (JPY 1.24 million) worth of relief goods to the people in the north-central region, the area most affected by the flood.

We sincerely hope for an early recovery of the areas affected by the flood.
