Start of Banking Service by BS Digital Broadcasting
We, The Sakura Bank, Ltd. (Akishige Okada, President) start banking service by BS digital broadcasting on December 1, 2000 in order to improve more convenience by constructing access point for customers actively on TV channel which is expected to be digitized rapidly and make the development of advanced interactive service possible.

The new service means that BS digital broadcasting is added to the channels for Browser Banking Service, which has already been available by PC and portable phone (i-mode). That is, all the customers with the contracts of Browser Banking Service can use PC, portable phone and TV as the channels. |

In 2010, all the Japanese TV channels are expected to be digitized, and we will improve the service and expand channels actively. |
