about New Medium-term Business Restructuring Plan Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. has been trying hard to carry out the medium-term business restructuring plan since 1998, and the performance is well in the main business area in accordance with the plan. However, based on a judgment that drastic improvement of the corporate structure is indispensable, it made a new business plan and decided to ask major financial institutions the loan forgiveness. As Mitsui Construction includes the maximum self-supporting efforts in the new plan, with various cooperation from others, its rehabilitation can be evaluated to be practical.
